Delete your Sawab account and data

Sawab: Quran, Islam, Muslim is provided by Black Widow Tech LLC. You can request deletion of your Sawab account and associated data here, even if you no longer have the app installed.

Request deletion without the app

Email us from the address associated with your Sawab account. If you signed in with Apple and use a private relay address, tell us which sign-in method you used so we can help verify your account.

Email salam@sawab.io to request deletion

Use the subject “Delete my Sawab account” and ask us to delete your account and associated data. Please do not send your password. We will verify that the account belongs to you before deleting it.

Delete your account in the app

In Sawab, open Settings → Delete Account and follow the confirmation steps. You may still email us to request cleanup of any associated records.

What will be deleted

The request covers your Sawab account profile and associated app data, including saved Quran and prayer progress, points, and activity records. Deletion is permanent and your saved progress cannot be restored. We complete verified requests, including manual cleanup of associated audit records, within 30 days.

If any record must be kept for a legal or security obligation, we will tell you what is retained and for how long.
